The Central Park Concert!
This three-disc set, released in November 2003, captures DMB’s Sept. 24, 2003 concert in New York. The Central Park Concert is loaded with classics, features epic versions of “Cortez the Killer” and “Jimi Thing,” and is one of the best-sounding live albums the band has released. Before These Crowded Streets!
This result should be no surprise, as fans have long considered 1998′s Before These Crowded Streets to be DMB’s studio masterpiece. It contains several of the band’s most treasured songs, such as “Crush,” “The Stone” and “Pig,” and its intricate production and layered textures set it apart from other efforts.
