The soundtrack to Boyd Tinsley’s film “Faces in the Mirror” will finally be available on iTunes in two weeks.
The “Faces in the Mirror” soundtrack features contributions from Boyd and several other Dave Matthews Band members, including Dave Matthews, Stefan Lessard, Tim Reynolds and Rashawn Ross. It also includes a new version of the song “Litho Blitho,” which Dave recorded as a solo instrumental for the Sounds of Wood and Steel Vol. 3 album in 2003 and is based on the outro to the DMB song “Mother Father.”
On Nov. 27, the same day the “Faces in the Mirror” soundtrack comes out, 10 cities will host a screening of the film: Atlanta, Baltimore, Buffalo, Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, Pittsburgh, Raleigh and Wheaton, Illinois. A related contest is now open on the film event website Tugg, and any of those cities that sell out their screenings in advance will have a chance of Boyd appearing live.
