The first Live Trax albums to feature Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds concerts will be released Dec. 12.
The two Dave and Tim Live Trax albums, announced today and available for pre-order now, capture classic ’90s performances with several rare and unreleased songs. Live Trax Vol. 23: 2.19.96 Whittemore Center Arena, Durham, New Hampshire, is a three-disc recording of Dave and Tim’s well-known show at the University of New Hampshire. It will mark the first official release of several songs, including “Hold Me Down,” “Weight of the World” (an early version of “Don’t Drink the Water”) and covers of Soul Coughing’s “Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago” and Led Zeppelin’s “Tangerine.”
Live Trax Vol. 24: 2.8.97 Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, Spartanburg, South Carolina, is a two-disc set that features the first official release of “Dreamed I Killed God,” plus an early version of “Captain.” “Jimi Thing” also includes an intro that would become the Dave Matthews Band song “Angel.”
The two Dave and Tim Live Trax albums are available for pre-order individually or in various bundles, with the DMB 2013 calendar and other merchandise.
